Step into Spring – Yoga Retreat Day

Spring is a season of birth, new beginnings, renewal, and growth—a time for the earth to make manifest the latent potential within all things. Seeds are germinating, flowers budding, insects buzzing, leaves unfurling.

Our physiology senses a natural opportunity for a fresh, clean start; our bodies are primed to lighten things up, cleanse ourselves of any accumulated imbalances, and rejuvenate our deepest tissues.

And despite our growing separation from the natural world, we are deeply affected by this gentle stirring around us.

This day is your ‘time out’ – a day just for you to drop the challenges of life, breathe out, be held in community, enjoy inspirational yoga that supports you in the transition of the seasons.

It’s the perfect time to begin your spring clearing, starting with your body and mind.

Our day together is aimed at cleansing and harnessing Prana Shakti.

After the stillness of Winter, we need to wake up our Shakti and emerge into a more energising and vibrant state of being.

This Spring Retreat Day embraces the energy of the sun, with a range of Yoga Practices to connect us to our Inner Sun.

Our day together will be held in a safe and friendly space so that you can re-energise, cleanse, connect to your inner radiant self and be ready to step into Spring vibrantly and at ease.

🌼10.20am  -Arrive Settle and claim your space.

🌼10.30am – 10.45am – Ginger, Lemon, Turmeric Shot

To wake up the digestion and begin its spring clean.

🌼10.45am – 12.45pm Vibrant Detox Flow practice

Enjoy a fully integrated and skilfully sequenced Yoga Asana practice to ignite your Prana Shakti.  We will share the Surya Manta chants as we call out the 12 names of the sun, sequenced with a Surya Namaskar practice: a solar warming practice to aid digestion.

Together we will build strength; increase flexibility and range of motion through dynamic movements and deep stretching and support the body’s three main detoxification systems.

We will also explore a heating Pranayama and a divine powerful Tantric Shakti meditation.

🌼1.00pm – 2.30pm – Wholefood, cleansing lunch

Sharing food has been a way to connect and enjoy each other’s company for millennium and I am very pleased to welcome back the very talented Jenny who delicately creates delicious wholesome food that will nourish you from the inside.  Jenny’s food is so tasty, delicious and all natural, easily digestible and plant-based. I could eat Jen’s food everyday.

There will also be time to enjoy one another’s company, relax and simply enjoy being amongst friends.

🌼2.30pm – 3.00pm – Breath of Life

A healing qi-gong pranayama designed to create flow and ease in the meridians giving you greater lung capacity and easy breathing.

 🌼3.00pm – 4.30pm – Yin Yoga for vitality  

Our yin yoga practice is to carry on the work from the morning session, yin yoga is a practice where we hold the postures for extended periods of time to stimulate held tension patterns in the body, supporting a better flow of prana to the digestive system, stocking the digestive fire and igniting creativity.

Aiding in the free flow of Prana smoothly through the meridians as this is key to health and longevity in body and mind.

This day will leave you:

  • Feeling a greater sense of vitality, warmer and refreshed
  • You’ll feel like you could float home it is simply the perfect antidote to modern day life
  • A sense of balance and ready to Step forward with your life plans
  • More energised, embracing your life with a smile
  • Nourished by friendships and community
  • Rested and ready to enjoy what the coming Spring has to hold

The venue is a large airy space that is well ventilated, numbers are restricted so that you all have ample save space around you.

This means that the event has limited numbers and only full payment will reserve your place.

Spend time in community who holds dear the values of non-judgement, support and kindness which are integral to creating this healing space, a day inspired by pure self-care.

Spring is most certainly my favourite time of year, it lifts our spirits and I always feel like anything is possible, 2022 is a precious year let’s make sure we ‘Step into Spring’ feeling refresh, ready, determined and free 🌼
